Too good not to share!
Photography before the polaroid? The guy draws it out for you!
Not related to travel or food, but I just love the look of freshly stacked shirts :-)
Making my variant of Tuscan white bean soup..
Ingredients:
Parma ham
White beans (canned is easier)
Fresh thyme
Sauteed onions
Touch of Miso paste
Carrots and celery heart (chopped)
Hearty and enough for several meals, depending on your portioning.. Next time though, I’ll sautee all the veggies first so the flavors come out more.
Purple sweet yams from the Chinese grocery are seriously crayon-bright! It’s delicious too, but only come in the small variety on the left.
I def find the starchy yellow sweet potato on the right more satisfying.
Behind all the bravado about Google’s gourmet cafes and healthy food.. Once in a while the chef just gets lazy and makes a cheese dog..
An oatmeal a day…
Means I need to kick up the variety! Today I added milk, then rock sugar, marmalade, and fresh pears.
Yummy and refreshing for a sunny San Francisco morning!
Omg, literally 5 min, and yummy! :-)
Just add cold milk and stir! This will be my ace up my sleeve for potlucks.

Is it nerdy to be excited about spending the night getting acquainted with my new pressure cooker?
